Single-phase electronic Prepaid kilowatt-hour meter (RF card)

Left is single-phase prepaid kWh meter, LED display, RF card type, the RF card is inductived in the card slot, one meter with one RF card
Right is RF card write/read machine and RF card, the machine will be connected with computer, the electricity sales department will keep it, the RF card is means Radio Frequency, it is non contact type.
The meter is used to measure single-phase AC active energy consume, with RF (radio frequency) cards prepaid function, the user will hold RF card to purchase kWh energy. the meter can let user pay money first and then use electricity, can cut-off power supply when without kWh energy in kWh meter. LED can display energy information, such as energy used, energy remained and energy purchased etc. the meter has pulse output, and has built-in relay-switch.

Using:
1. the meter will be used together with RF card, card machine and software. The card machine is connected with computer by RS232 COM port, the computer will install kWh sales and manager software.
2. the user will take RF card to energy sales department to purchase energy, the purchased energy will input to kWh meter in one time, after the energy in RF card has inputed to kWh meter, and then can purchase energy again.
3. the meter can display total energy used, energy remained, warning energy, purchased energy now etc. information.
4. the kWh energy sales department can search and sales kWh energy, can make function cards, such as reset-cards , set cards etc
Reset cards: it is used to clear kWh meter, let meter recover to out-factory status.
Set cards: it is used to set kWh meter, kWh first install, the sales department must use set cards to set meter.
Change meter card: using it when change kWh meter
5. the kWh energy sales department can resume used cards to vacant card by software.
KWh energy sales flow:
1.make reset card, insert reset card to kWh meter, clear kWh meter.
2.make set card, insert set card to kWh meter, setting kWh meter’s basic parameter
3.sales kWh energy:
if user first purchase energy: open an account, input user information, and make purchase card, and sales electricity to purchase card, user take purchase card insert to kWh meter, first energy sales is finished.
if user has purchased kWh energy, the user can buy energy by purchase card directly, and then insert to kWh meter, finish purchase energy.
Note: Reset card, and set card only be used when kWh meter first used, one rest card or set card can be worked in many kWh meter, the cards is been kept by energy sales department, cannot give to user, to prevent user destroy kWh meter’s data, the user only keep purchase card.
