How to use

Step 1:

Placed the tester in horizontal.

Step 2:

Connect inlet and outlet pipe

a. Connect the tester and water meter’s faucet by the inlet pipe

b. Connect outlet pipe to the tester

Step 3:

After finished the connecting, open the faucet, if the tester without leakage, then open the outlet valves, let the water pass the tester, get rid of the air in the pipe.

Step 4:

Power on, and adjust flow rate.

Let the faucet in full flowing, adjust water flow outlet valves, for size 15mm water meter , LCD display 0.150 +0.010m3/h is ok; Size 20mm water meter is 0.250 +0.010m3/h, Size 25mm water meter is 0.350 +0.010m3/h.

Step 5:

Testing

After the instantaneous flow rate is ok, first press stop keyboard “B” in remote controller, let the LCD stop accumulative, when water meter running to a whole number, press start keyboard “A”, the tester will automatic reset to zero and start counting again. After the water meter’s pointer running to whole number circles (10L), press “B” at once, the tester will stop counting. Compare the number in water meter and tester, we can get the water meter’s error.

Wire handle operation:

After the instantaneous flow rate is ok, first press stop keyboard let the LCD stop accumulative, when water meter running to a whole number, press start keyboard , the tester will reset and start counting. After the water meter’s pointer running to whole number circles (10L), press stop keyboard in handle at once, the tester will stop counting. Compare the number in water meter and tester, we can get the water meter’s error.

if without handle and remote controller, the operation is:

Adjust instantaneous flow by user faucet, water outlet valve’s open and close to control LCD reading of accumulative water.

After the instantaneous flow is ok, close outlet valve, copy water meter’s reading, and press the Reset button in the back of tester, and then open outlet valve, the tester begin counting, when the tester is reach to 10L, close outlet valve, copy the water meter’s reading again. Compare the reading of tester and water meter, as per the error expressions, we can get the water meter’s error range.

As per JJG161-85 standard, the water meter in using, if tested flow equal to or more than transitional flow, the error should not more than +4%
